Created from the renovation of a former industrial hall located in the heart of Carcassonne, a stone's throw from the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Hangar Blanc covers 800 m², divided between a modular hall and a courtyard.
It offers vast volumes and a rare flexibility in the city center to host exhibitions, residencies and cultural events.
Conceived as a white cube on a human scale, Hangar Blanc is an open, accessible and lively space, designed to accommodate both monumental works and more intimate formats: performances, workshops, screenings or conferences.
On the program:
art and research center: exhibitions, artist residencies, cultural mediation.
collaborative spaces: shared offices and coworking.
events: rental spaces for seminars, conferences, private or public events.
training: modules on cultural and tourism issues, societal innovation and transitions.
Open Wednesday to Saturday: 2 pm to 6 pm
Closed Sunday to Tuesday and public holidays.
