BRESCOU

The Brescou cottage is a comfortable place to stay for two people, located in a renovated farmhouse in the heart of a quiet estate with views of the Pyrenees. Located just 2 km from the medieval city of Carcassonne, this cottage is ideal for a nature, cultural, or sports-oriented getaway in the Aude department.

The estate comprises four independent cottages, each with a private entrance, a furnished terrace, and direct access to a large, tree-lined garden. The owners live on-site and ensure a warm, personalized welcome, while allowing guests complete peace and quiet.

Ideal location: Pyrenees, hiking, mountain biking, and Lake Cavayère
Around the cottage, numerous trails offer opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor excursions.
Less than a 20-minute bike ride away, Lake Cavayère offers a wide range of activities: supervised swimming (during peak season), pedal boats, stand-up paddleboarding, water skiing, tree-top adventure courses, and relaxation areas for families and groups of friends.

Its proximity to Carcassonne, one of Europe’s most visited medieval sites, makes the cottage the perfect base for exploring the region.

Entirely on one level, the cottage offers:
Fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator)
Separate bedroom with two 90-cm beds that can be pushed together,
Bathroom with toilet

Shared laundry room accessible in an outdoor area (washing machine—5 € per load + dryer),
