Aussières, 5 KM from Narbonne and 3 KM from Fontfroide, extends over 550 ha, with a central 180 ha organic vineyard. The winery is housed in the old cellars of the estate, which dates back to the Middle Ages and was once owned by the Fontfroide abbey. Surrounded by garrigues, olive groves and wooded hills, the estate is very committed to biodiversity, and has a Bird Protection League reserve.
