LES AMIS DU DEUX-FRÈRES

The association "Les Amis du Deux-Frères" invites you to come and sail aboard the traditional sailboat the "Deux-Frères" and discover the lagoon landscapes of the Etang de Bages as well as ancient navigation techniques.
Awarded the BIP (Bâtiment d?Intérêt Patrimonial - Building of Heritage Interest) label in 2012 and due to be listed as a historic monument by the Occitanie Region in 2024
Regatta boat
Built in 1911 by the Colomines shipyard in Banyuls (66) on the basis of a traditional Catalan workboat to compete in regattas at the request of its first owner, she was originally fitted with a slightly oversized auric rig, giving her greater maneuverability and speed.

In 2005-2007, Yann Pajot restored the boat to its original condition at the Conservatoire du Patrimoine Maritime et Fluvial shipyard. In 2007, it was donated to the Société Nautique de Narbonne to mark its centenary.
