CHAPELLE DES PÉNITENTS BLEUS

18th century chapel with baroque decor. Entirely restored by the City in 1996, it houses a decor, paintings and ironwork, both sober and bright, offering today an ideal exhibition space. Since its renovation, in order to preserve and to make live its inheritance, the City of Narbonne, City of Art and History, chose to present in this beautiful building of the classic architecture, the work and the realizations of contemporary artists who propose original and specific projects for this space, who develop actions of mediations there (meetings, concerts, conferences) and for some a work in residence
Today, it hosts a temporary exhibition room.
