Musée d'art et d'histoire Paul Eluard

Since 1981, the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire has been housed in the former Carmelite convent of Saint-Denis, founded in 1625. Its varied collections take you back in time. On the second floor, immerse yourself in Carmelite life with Louise de France, daughter of Louis XV. Discover the history of Saint-Denis and its abbey, as well as the apothecary. On the 2nd floor, explore the 1870 war, the Paris Commune through caricatures and photographs, and the links between Paul Éluard and the Louis XV pavilion.
