Place des Vosges

The economic and political centre of the city, the Place des Vosges has preserved its old arcades, once reserved for merchants. On the 1st arcade, the oldest (13th century), a plaque recalls the name of the Place des Vosges in Paris. On the other side, admire a renaissance house called "du Bailli", built in 1604 by a rich papermaker. The ground floor is occupied by an art gallery. The building that houses the pharmacy dates from 1904 and represents Art Nouveau on this square.
