À propos
Les Pétillants present their new creation: “Clovis, as you’ve never seen him before.”
A zany historical comedy about the king who shaped France.
Amid conquests, misunderstandings, and broken vases, discover the wildly imaginative tale of Clovis, the Frankish king who invented (almost) everything—except diplomacy!
Why this play?
Imagine an explosive mix of *Kaamelott* and *Les Visiteurs*, sprinkled with hilarious anachronisms and biting dialogue. Clovis, a young, barbarian king as ambitious as he is clumsy, must unify Gaul, deal with an overbearing mother, a very persuasive Christian wife, and Frankish warriors more interested in plundering thanpraying. This comedy debunks the legends to reveal a hero who is far more human—and funny—than history textbooks would have you believe!
