À propos
Completed in 2002, the Koba Mosque, named after the first mosque built in Madinah by the Prophet Muhammad, is a parallelepiped of white concrete. It includes a prayer room for men and one for women. The mosque is of high architectural quality, partly covered with marble, and is characterized by the sobriety of its forms and the quality of its materials. The religious function is not indicated by a minaret, but by an appropriate treatment of the roof, with a dialogue between circle and square and the insertion of a stainless steel sphere in a glass cube.
