decided, in 1912, to build a new elementary school. It included a concert hall, a drawing room, a gymnasium and showers, in order to meet the new school construction standards. This imposing building, whose symmetry is broken by a rounded projection, is designed to accommodate more than 1,500 students. Electric lighting and central heating were installed from the start. It became a school of commerce and industry in 1921, then a high school. The building is not open to visitors.
