Ecole Drouot

Built in a rapidly developing neighborhood - it was the time of the construction of the Cité Drouot - this school is in total symbiosis with its urban environment. It is the will to satisfy the concerns of hygiene (with an adequate orientation of the classrooms), pedagogy and aesthetics that presided over the construction of this superb building, which is striking by its size and symmetry. This brick building with Vosges sandstone window sills, its 2,300 m2 playground planted with trees and its covered courtyard, was completed in 1939. The building is not open to visitors.
