Located on the left side of the Park of the Castle of Rohan, it is in this Tower that Joseph Balsamo, known as Cagliostro, a dark and romantic hero who settled in Saverne at the invitation of the Prince of Rohan, is said to have carried out obscure experiments closer to alchemy than science. He was also involved in the famous "Affair of the Queen's Necklace".
