La Base Navale de Brest

Step inside one of the most secure facilities. You’ll come face-to-face with an impressive concentration of warships: frigates, hydrographic vessels, minesweepers… The bulk of the French Atlantic Fleet.

When making a reservation, please provide us with the following information:
- Last name and first name (for women, maiden name—do not include married name)
- Date of birth
- Place of birth
- Department of birth

Practical information:
Flat route of approximately 3.5 km
Maximum of 15 participants.
Tour duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The tour is open only to French citizens. Visitors 16 years of age and older must present a valid form of identification (national identity card or passport) on the day of the tour. For those under 16, a family record book will be required.
Any participant without valid identification will not be allowed to take the tour.
Identification documents whose validity has been extended by 5 years are accepted.
Reservations must be made with the Brest Tourist Office in advance, either at the counter or by phone.
