When we talk about engraving, we usually think of intaglio because of the inexhaustible wealth of effects that can be obtained in the creation of an image. What better place to learn the different engraving and printing techniques than in the marvelous setting of a major printing centre?
Spread over eight typical Puisaye farm buildings, the graphic art center la Métairie Bruyère groups together a series of workshops as well as the publishing house RLD, specialized in printmaking and artist's books. This complementarity of the art professions makes it a unique creative space in Europe. Accompanied technically by Myriam Lezier, the trainees work on the realization of a personal project defined during the first day, leading to the production of a coherent set of several copper engravings.
