Located on the esplanade at the exit of Pierrefeu in the direction of Collobrières, this monument in the shape of a wing was erected in memory of the 50 missing persons of the airship, Le Dixmude, which was lost at sea during the night of 20 to 21 December 1923 off the Sicilian coast.
