The primitive church seems to date from the 12th century and is of Romanesque construction: a single nave with a barrel vault, a double arch and a choir with a barrel vault.
The two chapels of the choir were added in the 17th century
The whole is nicely decorated with wall paintings, some dating from the Middle Ages.
