CITÉ MÉDIÉVALE DE LAGRASSE

Classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", the narrow cobbled streets of the medieval town contain many architectural treasures from the 14th and 15th centuries: the church of Saint-Michel, the market hall, the bridge, the ramparts and the beautiful stone facades. Ceilings and medieval painted decorations of Languedoc are visible at the "Maison du Patrimoine"
Lagrasse lies in an amphitheatre where the river Orbieu flows, in the heart of the town are workshops and stalls of craftsmen.
