Five exhibition rooms, an artist?s studio, all in an exotic setting in the heart of Carcassonne.
"La Friche" is a creative space combining artists' studios and large exhibition areas, in an associative and multi-disciplinary approach. The space welcomes independent artists. Different exhibitions and projects will also be offered on a regular basis. Based on a rigorous selection process, the program is expected to be rich in experimentation and confirmed artistic identities.
Toile de Lu and the whole "La Friche" team are convinced that art and culture are two essential links to make the heart of the city attractive. It's an economic, social and cultural challenge. Art is a pleasure to buy! And they want to give you that pleasure!
