On September 11, 12 and 13, 2026, the Offices de Tourisme des Pyrénées Cathares, du Limouxin, Collines Cathares Tourisme and the Office de Tourisme des Pyrénées Audoises are organizing the second edition of the Vélocipédie Occitane. Join us as we cycle the greenway from the Canal du Midi to Montségur, and let yourself be charmed by the richness of the landscape. Cross the vineyards, taste the wines of the Aude region, pedal at your own pace and take a detour through the most beautiful villages of the Aude and Ariège regions, in good spirits and far from the hustle and bustle of the city!
Get your bike ready, and let the adventure begin! From the Canal du Midi (celebrating its thirtieth anniversary as a UNESCO World Heritage site) to the Château de Montségur in the Ariège region, follow the voie verte and let yourself be carried away by the diversity of landscapes: Malepère and Limoux vineyards, charming Occitan villages, the sparkling reflections of Lac de Montbel and Cathar trails steeped in history.
Here, adventure is lived in a convivial spirit, with short circuits and authentic encounters. At every turn, local producers welcome you for gourmet breaks: wine tasting, stops in the vineyards, local produce? A journey where pleasure comes as much from the scenery as from the food. So, are you ready to pedal?
Sport by day, party by night! After the effort, time for conviviality! Every evening, a village party awaits you: foodtrucks with local flavors, live concerts and DJs set the mood under the stars. It's time to let off steam, talk about the landscapes you've crossed, laugh, share a drink and extend the experience in a warm, festive atmosphere.
