The Imperial Chapel was built in 1864 on Empress Eugenia’s request. A charming construction of Roman-Byzantine and Hispanic-Moorish style, dedicated to the Notre Dame of Guadalupe, the Mexican Black virgin. It was listed as historical monument in 1981.
