The bypass:
It ensures the hydraulic transfer of sand from the north beach to the south beaches. A first in Europe. It works thanks to a powerful hydro ejector using clear water under pressure to disintegrate the sand. The extraction is carried out by a pipe passing under the Boucarot channel and under the boulevard of the seafront.
