📍 Paris, Paris · 44 rue de la Victoire, 75009 Paris
À propos
The Grande Synagogue de Paris, nicknamed the Synagogue de la Victoire, was inaugurated in 1874 and has been a listed historic monument since 1987. At 36 metres high, it combines Romanesque, Byzantine and Second Empire styles. Inside, a 28-meter nave houses superb organs and colorful stained-glass windows donated by Gustave de Rothschild. Numerous ornaments, including a solid silver candlestick, decorate this central location for Paris's Jewish community. A must-see.
