Founded in 1952, La Prairie is first and foremost a cheese dairy, with over 250 cheeses on permanent display. Always on the lookout for new products. With a majority of raw-milk cheeses, sourced from small local producers in the regions of France. You can also discover Tomme aux Fleurs Sauvages from Austria, and butter and yoghurt from Bordier in St Malo. Regional cheeses include the superb Maroilles au Lait cru de Maliécourt, Joli Carré de Roncq, Petite Mimolette de Roncq from Mme Thérèse Couvreur, Boulet de Cassel from Oxellaere, not forgetting Fromage Fort de Béthune, a specialty of La Prairie. La Prairie is also a fine grocery store, with Foie Gras, Caviar, organic smoked salmon sliced with a knife, San Daniel and Pata Negra hams by the slice, and organic poultry from Marie Hôte. Homemade preparations such as ficelles Picardes made with raw milk (a real delight), cheese tarts, flamiches with maroilles and many other products? We offer a selection of wines, champagnes and spirits from brands such as Ladoucette, Cuilleron, Maison Chapoutier, Louis Roederer, Pol Roger and Ruinart.
