The Ziquodrome de Compiègne owes its reputation to the quality of its programming and its increasingly loyal and demanding audience.
Among its many cultural venues, the city of Compiègne is extremely proud to count the Ziquodrome. Created in April 1998 at the request of students at Compiègne University of Technology, this fully equipped concert hall, dedicated to amplified music, hosts a wide range of jazz, rock and blues concerts, recordings, plays, student evenings and association events. The Ziquodrome can accommodate 300 people seated and 800 standing.
A rehearsal studio
Young musicians from Compiègne can practice their talents in the Ziquodrome and benefit from the venue's facilities. In partnership with the Ziquodrome?s technical team, the rehearsal studio offers musicians the chance to practice their art in the best possible conditions. Professional equipment, technical expertise and artistic support are available to help musicians develop their projects.
Bands can also benefit from technical and pedagogical support to help them consolidate their skills. The development of a "fire plan" - for proper lighting management -, the drafting of "technical sheets" - to optimize installation and performance efficiency - and residency programs, wiring and recording of rehearsals, are just some of the services offered to groups with a potential for professionalization. Rehearsals take place mainly during the week, but also at weekends, depending on the availability of the venue and events scheduled at the Ziquodrome.
