À propos
Sitting in a circle around the actor, we follow the story of Gabin Alonso. From his Youtube channel "Badger Damage", young Gabin fights against the destruction of his childhood forest. A poignant one-man show about adolescence, its place in the face of the climate emergency, and the sense of inaction of grown-ups. Deeply moving!
Coming of age. Coming to terms with the reality of the world. Defending what is most precious: your childhood forest. Making videos on Youtube to express anger. To share emerging convictions. To fight the adult world. To build a thought. To create a community. To inform differently. To awaken consciences. Shout the truth. The truth.
Gabin recounts the battle he and his sister Cléo, a fashion influencer, waged against the destruction of their childhood forest. In 50 minutes, the actor sweeps up some very topical issues in a sharp text. What emerges are many feelings of anger and powerlessness, of questioning, of a need to be heard.
Thanks to a circular scenographic device, we are placed as close as possible to this young man and his emotions. No artifice, no theatrical effects, no black: the show is performed in natural light, in a raw environment. A strong visual universe, making the discourse all the more impactful.
An enlightening and edifying moment, a necessary work, a bearer of hope and fighting spirit. A show that touches our hearts and encourages dialogue.
