À propos
The Louschbach, a peak culminating at 1,075 meters above sea level, lies on the border between the communes of Plainfaing and Le Bonhomme. It was once home to high-altitude pastures and shepherds? shelters known as basses-gistes, and was a battleground during the First World War, notably at the Sapin de la Vierge site.
Today, the Louschbach is popular for hiking and trail walking, with several paths following the former Franco-German border of 1870. Hunting is permitted.
