Vélo Sport Metz Métropole (VS2M) announces the first edition of L'Étape du Graoully - La Cyclo Messine, which will start and finish at the Metz Arena.
Inspired by the legend of the Graoully, an emblematic figure of the city of Metz, this new cyclosportive is part of a drive to promote the Metz region through a federative, demanding and accessible sporting event.
Conceived by cyclists for cyclists, L'Étape du Graoully will immerse participants in the region's most emblematic roads, combining sporting performance with the discovery of local landscapes. The routes have been designed to offer a real challenge, while remaining accessible to all levels.
Two routes are on offer: 70 km - approx. 600-700 m ascent
130 km - approx. 1600 m ascent
To ensure optimum organization, the event is limited to 400 runners.
A complete experience in the heart of Metz.
At the finish line, participants will find a lively village in the Metz Arena, with partners, a relaxation area and a restaurant. A place to meet up, share and extend the day in a convivial atmosphere.

From 7:00 a.m. - Opening of the starting village Number collection and welcome of participants
Entertainment, catering and atmosphere on the Arena esplanade
8:30 am - Start of the 130 km course - Challenge Entreprise 130
8:45 am - Start of the 70 km course - Challenge Entreprise 70
From 11:00 am - Return and arrival of the first participants
Entertainment for the general public and families in the finish village
Catering on site!
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Awards ceremony and podiums

At the top of Saulny for the long course (130 km)
Time barrier: A minimum average speed of 20 km/h is required on the 130 km course
In the event of failure to comply with the barrier, the return leg may be cut short
