%AB Hi-Han %BB says “Hello, Horace” %E0 when he wakes up.
%AB Hi-Han %BB? But doesn’t a cuckoo say %AB “cuckoo” %BB instead of %AB “Hi-Han” %BB?
What’s going on with Horace? Just a fleeting little problem? Or is it something deeper, something stranger? This is the beginning of an incredible story for our bird who has lost his melody. As his misadventures unfold, Horace comes to realize that his situation is not unique.
We owe this comical and offbeat fable to Pierre Senges, a writer with boundless imagination in this burlesque—even baroque—musical tale. But Horace the cuckoo is much more than that… Beneath its lighthearted exterior, it challenges each of us on existential topics such as accepting others or our insatiable quest for identity.
Carried along by both Édouard Signolet’s immersive staging and Alexandros Markeas’s inventive music, this show takes us into a world where we listen differently—and where we laugh a lot, too. The songs cheerfully punctuate and complement the whole experience. And—surprise!—one of them will even be performed by the audience!

Young and old alike come together, always in the spirit of camaraderie, sometimes jostled—but above all, enchanted. So, why not come say “hello”? Or—why not—a “Hi-Han”?
