Lécourt is part of the association of 9 villages that make up the Val de Meuse commune, along with Montigny le Roi (center), Meuse, Maulain, Epinant, Lénizeul, Provenchères-sur-Meuse, Ravennefontaines and Récourt. Founded in 1972, the commune has over 2,000 inhabitants and covers an area of over 7,700 hectares.
