EGLISE SAINT-EVRE DE GERMAY

📍 Germay, Haute-Marne · 52230 Germay
À propos
The choir (with two rib-vaulted bays and flat chevet) of Saint-Evre church dates from the 2nd half of the 12th century. The more recent nave (with a single three-bay rib-vaulted nave) was built in 1777, as indicated by the keystone in the second bay, which bears this date. The rest of the church (south, east and north walls, bell tower) probably dates from the 19th century. Viewed from the outside, the elongated church is built of ashlar. The bell tower-porch is covered by a slate imperial roof topped by a skylight.
