Over 130 students from Voltaire-Moulin de Chaumont and Jonchery schools and Camille Saint-Saëns secondary school in Chaumont took part in a residency program to create a huge mural
The mural, called "MODO n°40", was made possible thanks to the support of Eltono, an international figure in urban art.
After discovering Eltono's work, and in particular the "MODO" creative process, which blends geometry with chance, the students, accompanied by their teachers, set about creating their own "MODO" protocol according to very precise rules: the geometric shapes and colors were imagined by all and then drawn at random to define the composition of this gigantic work.
Over a period of almost 15 days, the classes took turns painting on the wall of the Moulin-Voltaire school, along the Promenade Berchet in Chaumont, to reveal the fruits of their labor.
