Friche industrielle DMC

The company Dollfus Mieg et Cie was officially born in 1800 from the marriage of Daniel Dollfus, heir and nephew of the founder Jean-Henri Dollfus, to Anne-Marie Mieg. Located in Dornach, DMC develops two main activities: printing on fabrics and embroidery thread. It becomes one of the largest European textile groups, still distributed all over the world. Today, only part of the site is still in operation. The industrial wasteland, comprising an exceptional industrial heritage, is currently being rehabilitated and has been selected as part of the international "IBA Basel 2020" program.
