Ubu président

Ages 14 and over

Mr and Mrs Ubu, chronic unemployed, are at each other’s throats in their kitchen, where there is nothing left to eat. A journalist from Niouze, on the hunt for a news story, films them and decides to help them realise the only idea that could save them from their decline: becoming president(s)! Our play will therefore tell the story of Father Ubu’s laughable and terrifying rise to the Presidential Palace.
