2nd edition of NEVERS EN BLEU: An arts festival on the theme of "art around gesture" in 2026
NEVERS EN BLEU is a festival dedicated to art and arts and crafts, organised by the association La Verrière-Nevers.
It offers the public an artistic journey through the heart of the city, inviting them to discover artists and craftspeople while giving them access to emblematic places in Nevers.
It will run from 12 to 27 September 2026.
The theme, "Art through gesture", will focus on know-how, the precision of the gesture, the movement that shapes the material, and the expressiveness of the work born of this gesture.
The programme includes a host of events featuring :
- 50 to 60 artists, craftspeople, galleries, workshops and craft companies
- More than ten venues, including the Musée de la Faïence et des Beaux-Arts, the Chapelle Sainte-Marie and numerous private cultural venues and temporary spaces.
- A varied programme of exhibitions, creative workshops, craft demonstrations and live art performances (artistic gymnastics, dance, music)
La Verrière-Nevers is an association dedicated to developing and promoting arts and crafts in Nevers and the surrounding region. Set up by designer Clément Boutillon and jeweller Manon Pignon, it is also a boutique-workshop in the heart of the town, offering visitors a great place to meet the designers: 38, rue François Mitterrand - 58000 Nevers 🌐 https://laverriere-nevers.fr/
