Mathilde
Mathilde sings of love in all its shades: the forgotten women of Venus, emotional dependence, the fear of commitment, the end of illusion, the death of that thrill.
‘La Nuit · Le Jour’ was released on 1 March 2024. It features the cry—or cries—of a woman with many commitments, resolutely standing with the invisible and the forgotten members of society. Mathilde is a composer with a pop sensibility, capable of lightness and able to touch everyone’s heart.
Accompanied by her full band for this new musical season, this live performance features her musicians as well as a French Sign Language (LSF) interpreter who has been working with Mathilde since 2017 on her overarching project to make her music accessible to deaf people. Christelle led the team of deaf people and interpreters who adapted Mathilde’s entire repertoire.
Mathilde’s concert is accessible to people with reduced mobility (seated places and spaces for people with reduced mobility) and to deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.
Accompanied by Christelle, the French Sign Language (LSF) interpreter, and Josh Renton, her guitarist
