Le Brocangîte à Jules

In Bèze, one of the most beautiful villages in France, 20 minutes from Dijon, the “Brocangîte à Jules”, a fully renovated stone house, offers: on the ground floor: a fitted kitchen opening onto the living room, with a TV, Wi-Fi, a good-quality sofa bed (option for 2 extra beds: €15 per night per person), 1 shower room with a large shower, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, on the mezzanine: 1 large bedroom with 1 180 cm bed + 1 90 cm bed. Fan available on request. Small covered terrace with seating area, large fully enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, parasol, barbecue and sun loungers. Free public car park in front of the gîte. Baby equipment available on request: travel cot and high chair. Inside the gîte, some decorative items, sourced second-hand and restored by the owner, are available for sale, in the style of a ‘flea market’. Welcome drink provided by the owner.

Near the gîte: take a boat trip to explore the caves along the underground river. There is a spring resurgence and picnic tables by the spring.

A tourist and medieval village, also recognised in the ‘Villages Fleuris’ awards: ruins of the former Benedictine abbey, beautiful half-timbered houses, a wash house and a collegiate church founded in the 13th century. Restaurants, craftspeople and regional produce. Places to visit nearby: the châteaux of Arcelot, Fontaine-Française and Beaumont-sur-Vingeanne. The Vingeanne rail bike, walks or cycle rides along the canal. The Plaine des Tilles leisure park in Arc-sur-Tille. 25 km from Dijon, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy and home to the Cité de la Gastronomie.
