La fourmilière is an association approved by the French Ministry of Social Cohesion as a youth and popular education organization. Every summer and throughout the year, it organizes artistic stays in the heart of nature. It gives children the chance to develop their artistic skills (supervised by professional entertainers and artists) and to live together in a privileged setting (gîtes in the Parc du Vercors).
It also enables teaching artists from the Drôme region to showcase and promote their art, by providing them with administrative support in setting up artistic workshops. From 2005 to 2008, in partnership with Tour de Cirque, it organized the Festival pour petites canailles Shemlalou.
As an association committed to children, teenagers and artists, we have been striving for 27 years to offer quality activities that are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. Like all associations, we exist largely and mainly thanks to the will and presence of volunteers. Workshops and stays are organized with a mixed team of qualified animators (BAFA, BAFD...) and technical animators (artists, visual artists...).
