EGLISE SAINT MARTIN

The church of Odeillo, which predates the village, is dedicated to Saint Martin. It was probably built in the 9th century, in the Romanesque style.
It preserves from the Romanesque period a beautiful sculpted portal, decorated with two capitals, as well as a door with iron fittings. In front of the door there is still an iron gate covering a pit which was intended to prevent wolves and other wild animals from entering the church
