The Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette was built in 1861 on the summit of the Mont Saint-Clair, on the site of the former Montmorencette fortress constructed by Louis XIII.
It is noted for its internal frescoes and the votive offerings placed there by fishermen’s families.
