Fans of the King of Games will find in Tarbes convivial places to practice their passion for chess.
TWO CHESS TABLES ARE INSTALLED AT THE MASSEY GARDEN BUILDING and are only waiting for amateur players or International Grand Masters!
These tables are available to the public free of charge and without any obligation during Massey Garden's opening hours, on good weather days, at the Massey Garden refreshment bar.
GOOD TO KNOW:
- The Chess Club, located at 47 rue Brauhauban, welcomes the public every day of the week from 5pm.
- A Chess School trains our young future champions from 6 years old on Wednesdays from 16h to 18h (Information from the teacher, Jérôme at 06 37 27 25 25).
- The Tarbes Chess Club takes part in the French championships of clubs in N4 division (equivalent to the Fédérale 1 in rugby).
- Every year during the Easter week-end, an International Chess Tournament takes place at the Parc des Expositions.
