Summer, rain, the beach, summer camp, solitude, the TV on, and a writer’s vivid imagination.
It’s 1980, and Marguerite Duras has been sent by the newspaper *Libération* to write a column that will be published weekly this summer. Never mind—she’ll write whatever she wants. Navigating between realism and fantasy, we find ourselves at the heart of a haunting diary.

"Hyper Duras" is a quirky dive into the world of a writer who is both adored and detested. It deals with current events from the summer of 1980, an eccentric shark, an Italian interviewer, the price of ham, and an extremely delicate “ghost coat.” It’s about the passage of time and what slips through our fingers. A journey through Durassian waters where despair and humor, megalomania and poetry coexist.

An intense and playful production where theatricality provides the energy and madness needed to bring Duras’s words to life, without ever forgetting the audience.
