CHAPELLE SAINTE CASTERE

This church from Castèt,, a missing village since 945 and an old Marian pilgrimage site, was restored in the 19th century after a master mariner’s wish and then, in 1991, after the request made by the village of Lau Balagnas.
Interesting:
- The door with a Chi Rho suspended against the church’s wall
- Virgin and Child
- Saint Bernadette statue
- Furniture (altar and benches) coming from the old Catalpas rest home’s chapel.
