Château Massamier La Mignarde is an 80-hectare winegrowing estate, established since Roman times at the foot of the Montagne Noire, in the heart of the ancient Viscounty of Minerve, i.e. the historic Minervois, and in the Minervois La Livinière cru. A 40-minute drive from Carcassonne and 15 minutes from Minerve.
Wine lovers will remember that its Domus Maximus 2000 cuvée was voted Best Wine of the World in its category, as well as Best French Red Wine at the International Wine Challenge in 2005.
Today, and for almost 15 years, the estate has been planting trees in the vineyard to restore the vine's natural ecosystem: the edge of the forest. No need to irrigate or treat the vines, they have their own natural immunity!
Guided tour of the vineyards with the winemaker (explanation of soil, climate, growing techniques) and historic buildings, followed by a tasting of the estate?s wines in the historic 18th-century chai.
Also sale of ancillary products produced on the estate (jams, grape juice and olive oil), and tailor-made tours for groups (from 10 people).
These services are available every day from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
