Here, you’ll set out to explore the 50-hectare estate of vineyards and woods, and walk part of the Way of St. James. Just a few kilometers from the village of Montréal, which overlooks the Aude plain and the Canal du Midi—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—you can explore the area on foot or by bike. From the guesthouse, you can set out to explore the cultural and culinary treasures of the Aude department (the village of Fanjeaux, the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours, the “village of books” Montolieu, and the abbeys of Saint-Papoul and Saint-Hilaire). Just a few kilometers away, you’ll find yourself in Ariège at the famous market in Mirepoix, or beneath the ramparts of the Citadelle de Carcassonne, just 25 minutes away. Upon request, the owners can recommend great places to taste local wines.


On-site, you can enjoy the garden and park shared by the owners, as well as the pétanque court for some great games of pétanque, with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees mountain range. From May 1 through October 30, you can cool offin the owners’ pool (6 x 12 m, depth 1.20–2.50 m), open from mid-May to late September depending on the weather, complete with sun loungers and a pool house featuring a shower and restroom. A game room is also available, featuring ping-pong tables, foosball, and more.

The cottage features the following on the ground floor:

_a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living area with a TV and a wood-pellet stove.
_a private terrace with patio furniture and a grill.
_a separate restroom.
_a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
_2 bedrooms with 2 160 beds each, each with its own bathroom.

Upstairs:

_One bedroom with two 90-cm beds (which can be joined upon request), air-conditioned.
_One bedroom with one 160-cm bed, air-conditioned, and its own private bathroom with toilet.
