À propos
Two talented young cellists take us on a musical journey through the traditional dances of the 20th century!
After the concert, enjoy a drink and chat with the artists!
Cellists Flora Brégeault and David Penitzka met while studying at the Brussels Conservatory, where they trained with Marie Hallynck, Didier Poskin and Guy Danel. The Uccelli duo was born of their human and musical understanding.
This young duo is keen to share its passion for the cello through a variety of works, ranging from the Baroque repertoire (sonatas by Jean Barrière and Antonio Vivaldi) to contemporary works (duets by Giovanni Sollima and Jean-Baptiste Robin).
Uccelli is also interested in transcriptions (Inventions by J-S Bach, Bartok duets) and premieres (Sonatine by Patrick Valls, a Catalan composer living in Brussels, premiered at the Festival des Nocturnes du Conservatoire in December 2023).
