À propos
Let's take a walk in the woods, while the wolf isn't there! Inscribed in our cultural memory for centuries, everyone knows the famous tale. Joël Pommerat takes it and re-enchants it in a profound and exhilarating modern fable.
Once upon a time, there was a young girl living in an isolated house deep in the forest. In the "company" of her overworked mother, the lonely little girl gets bored. She decides to cross the forest to find her grandmother. Here begins the story of an initiation ordeal, in which she must face and overcome her fears.
In 2004, the talented Joël Pommerat rewrote his first fairy tale for young audiences, before continuing his series with Pinocchio and Cinderella. What a pleasure to
to go back in time and discover the beginnings of one of the greatest French playwrights-directors of the 21st century!
He gives us his own version of the story, a profound reflection on humanity, its difficulties in communicating and the fear of growing up. This is also the story of three generations of women, portrayed through sincere, authentic characters. A poignant theater, where Pommerat?s incisive writing questions and enlightens with humor and realism.
A delicate show, sure to give young audiences a taste for the theater, and remind adults of its life-saving power!
