Promenade en catamaran solaire | Compiègne et le passage de l'écluse

📅 15 dates · du May 14 – Aug 30, 2026 📍 Cours Guynemer, 60200 Compiègne
À propos
The meeting point is Cours Guynemer (near Le Daisuki restaurant) in Compiègne.

After welcoming the passengers, you will board a 100% solar-powered catamaran. This innovative boat stands out for its totally silent operation, excellent stability and very comfortable seating. The boat deliberately accommodates a small number of passengers - a maximum of 12 - to offer a convivial and privileged experience.

The trip begins downstream on the River Oise. Passengers soon discover Compiègne from an unprecedented angle from the river. The catamaran glides gently over the water, passing under the city?s two emblematic bridges: Pont Solférino and Pont-Neuf.

Navigation then continues to the Venette lock. Passing through the lock is one of the highlights of the trip. Passengers can observe the workings of this impressive structure up close, and enjoy the rare experience of leveling the boat as it goes through the water.

Throughout the tour, Captain Pascal de Peretti shares his passion for the river, navigation and the world of inland navigation. A true man of the river, he recounts with simplicity and enthusiasm the history of the boats, the workings of the locks and life on the water.

After passing through the lock, the catamaran turns around and returns quietly to Cours Guynemer in Compiègne.
