The Communauté d'Agglomération de Laon encourages cycling with its "Vélo-Cité" self-service electric bicycle rental service:
> 70 electric bicycles are available.
> these are intended for short-term rental.
> they are available at 15 stations in Laon.
Renting an electric bike couldn't be easier:
> go to velocite.ecovelo.mobi or download the Vélo?Cité? application Pays de Laon application
> create an account by registering a credit card and providing proof of identity
> choose the package you want
> I go to one of the stations and rent a bike (by entering the bike number on the application or by SMS or credit card)
> the rental ends when I return the bike to one of the stations? to do this, I insert the chain on the bike, the screen confirms the return and the rental ends
