Chapelle du Saint-Esprit
📍 Metz, Moselle
· Rue de Bourgogne, 57070 Metz
À propos
Surprisingly round in shape, the Chapelle du Saint-Esprit is in no way reminiscent of a traditional chapel. Designed by Jean-François Dechoux and Edouard Jost in collaboration with Carl Litzenbourg, it is a place of interiorization, a place of worship in direct contact with the urban reality of the Borny district.
The originality of its lighting and the simplicity of its volumes make it a place of intimacy and conviviality regularly frequented by the local community. The chapel is part of the "Saint Paul de l'Est Messin" parish community, along with the churches of Saint Pierre and Notre Dame de la Grange aux Bois.
