Exposition : La plume verte à Nevers

Our next issue of Annales des pays nivernais will be an illustrated publication with commentary on Jean-Louis Gresset's poem Ver-Vert. To mark the occasion, this summer we invite you to discover the group exhibition "La Plume verte", featuring contemporary graphic and artistic interpretations of the story of the parrot Ver-Vert, the famous inhabitant of the Visitandines convent in Nevers.
Immerse yourself in the world of Gresset's poem in the convent chapel and relive the fascinating story of the parrot
of the parrot, condemned for succumbing to the bad influences of the boatmen and the sweets
offered by the nuns.
Open Thursday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm, with the support of the Département de la Nièvre, the City of Nevers, Illus' and the Journal du Centre.
